Arusha Airport is a public airport that is serving the city of Arusha in Tanzania. It is owned by the government of Tanzania and is operated by the Tanzania Airports Authority. Six airlines are operating at the airport serving scheduled flights to the domestic areas such as Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. It also serves as the hub for Air Excel and Regional Air. The airport is currently going through an expansion, that includes a new terminal building and a new apron. 142,224 passengers were served by the airport during the year 2014, a 4.68% decrease compared to 2013.
