The Atlanta Civic Center is a theater with 4,600 seats situated in Atlanta, Georgia,of the United States. The theater hosts regular productions of concerts, comedy acts, seminars, Broadway musicals, and even commencement ceremonies and school graduations. The Civic Center is operated and owned by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs of the city government. It was built in the year 1967 in the community of Buttermilk Bottom on the Ripley Street site.
