Town Lodge is one of the five brands under the City Lodge Hotel Group, which operate hotels in South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, Namibia, and Tanzania. The brand was started in 1990. It proved to be popular, and has since then, grown to a total of 13 hotels and 1,650 rooms. Town Lodges are primarily located in South Africa, with branches in Botswana.

Town Lodge rooms are carpeted and air-conditioned, with spacious en-suite showers and television sets with M-Net.
