The Chinese Culture Center was established in 1956 as the operations center of the Chinese Culture Foundation. The center is located in San Francisco, California. The building originally housed the Hall of Justice. Since then, it became a 20,000 square foot venue for cultural community activities. It is a non-profit and community-based organization. In 2008, the focus of the center shifted to contemporary arts under the leadership of the program director, Abby Chen. The center also partners with gallery spaces like 41 Ross in Ross Alley. It has produced notable arts among the public like Liminal Space, which was ocean, projected in Ross Alley by Summer Mei-Ling Lee. The center was founded by J.K Choy.

San Francisco offers a variety of fun and engaging activities for tourists. The center alone even offers Chinatown Walking Tours, leadership seminars, and the Chinatown music festival. For their leadership seminars, they invite scholars, and activists. The center has invited Timmy Yip, Gordon H. Chang, Yu Xinqiao, and Elizabeth Sinn.
