GEA-Magenta Domestic, locally known as the Noumea Magenta Airport is a domestic airport in Noumea, New Caledonia. Situated 3 kilometers from the city's capital, it is one of the local airports that services domestic flights in the region. Although several aircrafts were already using the area since 1931, the construction of the first terminal in the airport only took place in the 1970s with 100,000 as its initial capacity. Noumea Magenta Airport completed and opened a new terminal in 2001, now with over 300,000 as its capacity.
