As part of the expansion program of the hotel chain, Surya Hotels purchased four Dragonfly Hotels in 2016 for £10m, just a few months after the final call for the disposal of the properties. The hotels are the Colchester Hotel, King’s Lynn Hotel, Bury St. Edmunds Hotel and the Peterborough Hotel. However, the hotels will remain under the Dragonfly Brand.
