Recoleta Cultural Center in the neighborhood of Recoleta in Buenos Aires, Argentina is a participatory venue for the young ones and adolescents who would like to take part in various areas: music, dance, literature, visual arts, theater, cinema, and others. Completed in 1732, the facility is one of the oldest structures in the city and was initially the convent of the monks that later became a hospital, then a military fort, shelter for homeless, and a home for the elders. It finally served as a cultural center before the 1970s end.
