The Somme Heritage Centre is a widely visited tourist attraction in Newtownards, Northern Ireland in the United Kingdom. This educational facility was built to educate guests about the country’s significant role during World War I. The Somme Association was established to help research the role of Ireland in the first world war to honor them and remember the sacrifices of the Irish people who served during the war as well as their families. The association also oversees the Somme Heritage Centre, Somme Museum, and Ulster Memorial Tower.

This charming 19th century family house was restored featuring an attractive interior and a vast collection of artworks.  The Nendrum Monastic Site believed to be established in the fifth century features stonewalled enclosures.
