Tenerife Norte Airport – TFN San Cristobal de La Laguna
One of the international airports in the island of Tenerife, Spain is the Tenerife Norte Airport also previously known as Los Rodeos Airport. The Binter Canarias and Canaryfly operate it. Although smaller than the Tenerife South Airport, the TFN catered over 3.7 million of passengers. As of today, Tenerife Norte Airport is an inter-island hub that links all seven of the Canary Islands.
Best Time to Visit
Tenerife Norte Airport has only one modern passenger terminal, which gives passengers a bright view of the countryside and the mountains surrounding the airport. Both arrivals and departures are dealt in the ground floor. As an airport that handles over four million passengers yearly, there are quite a number of cafes and bars in which you can grab some food and drinks. ATM machines are also available in the arrivals and departures hall in case you ran out of cash. Make your kids let out some energy in the children’s play area. Mobile charging stations and medical services including a pharmacy are also available in TFN San Cristobal de La Laguna. Few cities that you can visit without going too far from the airport are the El Duque and Playa Paraiso.

If sleeping in the airport does not sound appealing to you, there are a lot of TFN San Cristobal de La Laguna hotels that can accommodate you. To name a few, there are the San Diego 22, Iberoster Heritage Grand Mencey, and El Rincon Del Huroncillo. Both places are near the relaxing beaches and only some minutes away from famous landmarks.
A good alternative airport for flights to and from Tenerife is the Tenerife South Airport and the La Gomera Airport.
