Lloydminster Airport (YLL) is a municipal airport located 2.3 miles from the town of Lloydminster, Alberta in Canada. This airport was constructed in 1981 to replace the old Lloydminster Airport. Currently, the new airport is the biggest in the entire region.
Lloydminster is considered a border city. This town sits between the borders of Alberta and Saskatchewan and is recognized as one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities. The new airport is located in Alberta while the old airport was originally built in Saskatchewan.
