The second-largest airport in Montana, Billings Logan International Airport is 2 miles north west of Billings, Yellowstone County. Owned by Billings City, Montana, the airport has a 2,300-acre of land. BIL Airport was first established in 1928, and the first scheduled passenger air service was from Northwest Airlines in 1933. Today, the airport has non-stop flights to several airline hubs and is served by domestic, international, and cargo airlines.
