Charlottetown, Canada is a tiny neighborhood located in the island of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is located within the Terra Nova National Park, which is characterized by wetlands, ponds, rock faces, and rolling forested hills. The neighborhood is home to less than 300 residents, and features a few infrastructures such as a playground and a community center. The Gander Airport is just 45 miles from the tiny town.

The best time to visit Charlottetown, Canada is in the summer, months from June through August. There are plenty of interpretive programs as well as a nightly Evening Theater in the Terra Nova National Park. Campfire programs, mountain biking, and freshwater swimming are just some of the activities. In the winter, travelers can also enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and winter camping activities. Spring and fall are considered the low season, but given the small number of residents in the locale, anytime would be a good time to visit the city.
What to Do & Area Attractions
Tourists can relax at the grounds of Twin Rivers Golf Course, or explore the trekking areas of the Discovery Trail. Charlottetown’s proximity to the Terra Nova National Park affords travelers plenty of outdoor activities. The two campgrounds in the park, namely Malady Head and Newman Sound, offer grounds for camping, kayaking, and canoeing activities. Guests of the Clode Sound Motel 7 Restaurant will have a fun time staying at the property given its location near the park. The motel features free Wi-Fi access, use of an outdoor pool, and stone BBQ pits for family dinners. It is also the only accommodation within Charlottetown, Canada.
