Divundu: Calming Place to Rest
Divundu is a village in the region of Kavango East, Namibia, opposite of the northeastern riverbanks of Kakutji, Angola. Divundu, Namibia is considered as the third biggest settlement of the Kavango Region. There aren't many activities and hotels in this town, however, this can be the best place for a peaceful unwinding and rest. As a place that belongs to a safari country, there's technically seldom-rainy season. The best dry season in Divundu is around June to October, where Wildlife activities are being held. Every year, they are hosting Herero Day on a Sunday closest to August 23 to commemorate the country's unsung heroes against the German army. Residents would often gather in a parade with colorful Herero costumes.

Bwabwata National Park is the main attraction of Divundu, which centers on wildlife diversity and preservation in natural riverine and swampland habitat. Tourists are frequently checking in to Ndhovu Safari Lodge, which provides boat cruises to some of Divundu's well-kept natural resources, like the Popa Falls. There are also guided village tours and orientation to the village of Kamutjonga.
