Guigang: Find Solace in Stunning Parks and Serene Temples
Embark on a journey to Guigang, China, a place known locally as “Lotus City” for the incredible amount of lotus flowers that bloom and flourish here. The city is about two hours away from the Guangxi’s capital Nanning, where you can fly in through the Nanning Wuxu International Airport. Formerly known as Guixian or Gui County, it is a prefecture-level city found in the eastern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China. Guigang has a long, storied history as part of the Maritime Silk Road, but it’s now a thriving port city with plenty of beautiful natural attractions for travelers.
