Situated in the capital of the Jiangxi province in China, Nanchang Changbei International Airportis serving the city of Nanchang and its neighboring areas. It is operated by the Capital Airport Holding. The construction of the airport began in October 1996 and started operating on September 10, 1999, replacing the Nanchang Xiangtang Airport. The airport was upgraded to an international airport and was expanded during the year 2008 to 2011. It also serves as a hub for Jiangxi Air. Nanchang Changbei International Airporthas seen 13,524,159 passengers pass through its gates in 2018.
