Plattsburgh International Airport is a public airport owned by the Clinton County in Plattsburgh, New York. PBG Airport traces its origins to the Plattsburgh Air Force Base, which ceased operations in September 2005. The Plattsburgh Airbase Redevelopment Corporation was then created to manage what was lefty of the facility, and the idea of turning the area into a commercial airport to replace the now-defunct Clinton County Airport was born. While the plan to transform the air base into a commercial airport was hatched in 2000, it was only in April 2006 that Plattsburgh International Airport became fully operational.

PBG airport has two levels, one terminal, four gates and one asphalt/concrete runway that measures 3,584 meters. Plattsburgh International Airport also serves Plattsburgh, Lake Placid and Vermont.
