The Pointe-a-Pitre International Airport, also known as the Pointe-a-Pitre Le Raizet Airport or the Guadeloupe Pole Caraibes, is based in Grande-Terre Island in Guadeloupe, France, which furthermore is located in the Caribbean Sea. The airport has a code of PTP and is the largest airport in the Abymes region. The Pointe-a-Pitre International Airport caters to over two million passengers a year, making it one of the busiest airports of the Lesser Antilles region in the Caribbean Sea.
