Located in Bristol, a popular venue for concerts and sports is the Viking Hall Civic Center. Also called Viking Hall, the facility was established in 1981. This huge facility boasts an enormous capacity of over 6,000 seats. The venue is not only used for sporting events and live concerts but for other regional and international affairs as well. In 1990, a scandalous incident involving the Viking Hall Civic Center occurred. Local churches raised protests against the performer, White Zombie, after its performance in the stadium.
