Wildlife Information Centre is an educational facility that aims to make people aware of the diverse flora and fauna found in Islay. It is managed by the Islay Natural History Trust, which has been established since 1984 as a protective measure to this environment. This place showcases interactive activities to engage the imagination of visitors such as measuring oneself’s against an Orca’s fin and making a mermaid purse ID. To create awareness of both locals and visitors, this information center in Islay Island also hosts monthly talks and wildlife shows.
